The PADX-1 LEDGE™ is your iPad’s new best friend. With the PADX-1 you can now comfortably use your iPad anywhere, with both hands freely available to interact with the device or with your environment. The patent pending LEDGE™ pocket securely holds your iPad on your chest in a protective, supported platform. It is designed to allow for easy access to a iPad when needed, and enables the user to quickly put the device away by simply zipping up the LEDGE™ pocket.

The LEDGE™ design is based on a toolkit worn by EOD bomb technicians that need instant access to their tools when dismantling an explosive device. By creating a small platform for their toolkit, they gain immediate access their tools, which is essential in high stress and time critical applications. The weight of the device is also managed with a harness system used in body armor design.  A load bearing suspension webbing traditionally used to support the heavy armor panels, is used in the LEDGE™products to reduce the apparent device weight.

The PADX-1 LEDGE™ is designed specifically for the iPad. With the growing popularity of smartpad devices, we will soon also accommodate other devices such as the Samsung GALAXY, Toshiba Smartpad and the ViewSonic ViewPad.

The PADX-1 LEDGE™ pullover is made of advanced waterproof, thermal softshell, with the perfect balance of strength, stretch and softness.

A load bearing harness system at the chest and shoulders supports the smartpad device and distributes the weight on the upper body to reduce fatigue.

The patent pending LEDGE™ pocket is designed to hold the smartpad against the chest and allow for easy device viewing and control.

The LEDGE™ pocket flap attaches snugly to the iPad, to prevent it from shifting around. The pocket flap also protects the device from light impacts.

The PADX-1 LEDGE™ pullover has our Advanced Kangaroo Pockets – Two hand pockets and a small middle zippered pocket.

a. Chest :Measure under arms around the fullest part of the chest. Be sure to keep tape level across your back and comfortably loose.

b. Waist: Measure around natural waist (the smallest part of your midsection) with a measuring tape.

c. Sleeve: Place your hand on your hip with your arm bent 90 degrees. Measure from the middle of the back of your neck (at the spine) across your shoulder and down your arm to the wrist.
